January...Boring? Never!

It's been quite an eventful month at our house. Benjamin endured his first cold and fever and a few visits to the pediatrician. He also turned 9 months old! He's babbling much more, rolling everywhere, and is on the verge of crawling. We installed his new convertible carseats over the weekend because he is too big for his infant one. This has brought new challenges of winter outerwear, buckling into carts, and frustration if he falls asleep in the car! Nathan finished teaching his first interim course yesterday and is gearing up for Worship Symposium which begins today.

With all that hair on the top of his head, he's looking so much more like a little boy instead of a baby. I try, in my mind, to connect this busy little guy with the tiny bundle you brought home from the hospital and it doesn't seem possible!

I enjoyed finding the toy he left under my stove last week when he was playing here in our kitchen. I guess he discovered one of those Sesame Street concepts: UNDER.
