One year old!

In some ways it seems like forever ago that Benjamin was born and spent nearly two weeks in the hospital; in other ways it seems like just yesterday. But it's been one year since Benjamin entered the world on April 22, 2007. Benjamin celebrated on Sunday with his grandparents and great-grandparents, he took his brand new bike for a spin and, of course, devoured his cake. Last night we picnicked in front of the Ford Museum along the Grand River on a gorgeous spring evening. He's also unveiling some new tricks and skills this week, like clapping and saying new consonants. It's been a year to remember, so full of fun and laughter and diapers, and the next year will bring even more, along with walking and talking! We can't wait.
